PKL season 9 auction was organised on 5-6 August. There were talks about the Expensive buys of the Auction. Pawan Sherawat was the most expensive buy worth 2.26 crores. Some expensive players have delivered satisfying performances while some of these have failed to return their performances to the teams. After the start of the season, some teams are regretting their expenses over a single player. Today we will talk about the players who have failed to return their performance to their teams.

Pawan is the most expensive buy-in PKL history. During the first match of the season, Pawan was injured and ruled out of the remaining season. Till now he is not recovered from injury. He has managed to play just a single match where he scored a single raid point, however, it’s not his fault, but this has been a loss for his team.

Mohammad was the most expensive all-rounder in PKL auction 9. He is an Iranian all-rounder and played for Bengal warriors in the last two seasons. He has been the biggest flop for Puneri Paltan. In 11 matches he scored just 13 points.

  • Amir Hossain Bastani –

This was an unexpected purchase of auction. Amir Hossain Bastami is an Iranian Defender. He played for Jaipur Pink Panthers in season 6. But he did not get so many opportunities that year.  He was provided better chances this year by his new Franchise Haryana Steelers, but he failed to grab these opportunities. He scored just 18 points in 11 matches.

  • Ravi Kumar –

The former Haryana steelers player Ravi Kumar has not been in talk so much, but in many instants, he gave some match-winning performances. This helped him to take a good amount of 64.10 lakh rupees. However, he failed to score this year. He scored 20 points in 13 matches.

In most of the seasons, he scores at least 50 tackle points. His defending skills are extraordinary.  This year, he has not been so consistent. He scored 27 points in 13 matches.

He is a Maharashtra all-rounder who was in the squad of UP yoddhas in season 6 and season 7. However, he did not get any chance till then. Gujarat bought him this year and gave him opportunities, but he has failed to score this year as well. He scored 20 points in 13 matches.
