Early Life of Monu Goyat
Monu Goyat was born on 16 October 1992 in Hissar, Haryana in a farmer family. Later, He was bought up in Haryana’s small village Kungar by his uncle Vijender Singh who was also a former Kabaddi player who can’t be selected for India because of Injuries. Monu started playing kabaddi at a very small age of ten by influence from his uncle. He never saw his chachaji playing kabaddi. He just hears stories of his uncle. He started playing kabaddi just for fun and was later selected for his school’s U19 Team.
In 2011, He Joined the Indian Army by Sports Quota. After that, he regularly plays for services in national tournaments. He was coached by Jasvir Singh in Services. Due to the regulations of the Army, he wasn’t able to play the first two seasons of pkl. In Season 3, He can’t be selected because there was a lucky draw but after that, he regularly performs well for services and finally gets selected for Bengal Warriors for Season 4.

Unfortunately, Captain of Haryana Surender Nada got injured and Monu became the captain of Haryana Steelers. Monu Bagged 160 points in 20 games with an average of 8 raid points per match but he can’t take his team to playoffs.
Season 7.
Haryana retained Vikash Khandola and Kuldeep Singh and released Monu Goyat because of no remaining places and got Threw to the auction and Up Yodhha bought him in 89 lacs. Season 7 was not a good season for Monu he only takes 67 raid points in 14 Matches. We hope Monu will perform well in the next seasons.
