We know that all kabaddi fans are waiting for the new PKL season. now, the wait is over as Mashal Sports started to work on pro kabaddi 2022. every new season starts with retained players then an auction and pre-camp then the actual League.

Category A – 5 Aug 2022 – 7 PM to 8.30 PM
Category B – 5 Aug 2022 – 9 PM to 10.00 PM
Category C & D – 6 Aug 2022 – From 11 AM
pro kabaddi 2022 auction dates will be held on 5th and 6th August 2022. All PKL franchises need to submit their retained players list by 20th July. maximum 6 players are allowed to be retained by the franchise. 6 players can be chosen from categories A, B, C and NYP.
Domestic, overseas, and NYP players will be divided into 4 categories A, B, C, and D.

this time franchise spending amount is also increased. in PKL 8 franchise was given 4.4 Cr to spend on players. for this season it is the same as the previous season. this will give a free hand to the franchise to get more talented players into the team.
Khelo India youth games and university 2022 finalist team players got a chance in the PKL auction 2022. most of the franchises will try to get more young talents in their team. in the previous season NYP talents like Aslam Inamdar, and Mohit Goyat were stunned with their performance.
The auction will take place for 2 days. first, it will start with NYP players and then categorise C, B, and A accordingly. auction venue details are not known after the official announcement we will declare it. In the previous season, Dubki King Pardeep Narwal was the highest-paid Pro kabaddi player with an amount of 1.65 Cr. Pradeep Narwal was the only PKL player to get paid above 1 Cr.
this season it will be interesting to see if any player can break the record of Pardeep Narwal. every year Pro kabaddi breaks the record of highest-paid players.

we all are waiting for the pkl season 9 starting date announcement. finally, we have some good news for all pro kabaddi fans. Star Sports official broadcasting partner of Pro kabaddi started a promo. in Promo, Star Sports hinted that Pro Kabaddi 2022 would begin in October and the final will be played in December.
Star Sports booked a slot for Star Sports between October to December. Mashal Sports and Star Sports want to make this season big because due to the Pandemic previous seasons were not that big. all teams changed their previous season’s coaches for this season. The first time it’s happening is when all teams change their coaches.
will fans allow in-stadium for pkl season 9?
now there are no limitations on fans in the stadium. as during IPL we saw a stadium packed with fans. so PKL will also allow fans during this season. this time it will host matches in different cities as compared to the previous season which played in Hyderabad.
