what a performance from Chinese Taipei. first, they played a Tied match in the first game with India. then they remain undefeated in the group-stage matches. in the Semi-Final, they defeated the previous Gold winner Iran. in the Final game, they played like they had won many Gold medals in the past. India won all gold medals except the Previous year but still struggled for every point. Chinese Taipei has raised its standards to the new horizon. Before the Asian Games, everyone imagined a final between India and Iran. but Chinese Taipei came out of the syllabus for the Asian Games final.

India won the Gold medal in the final by defeating Iran. but 1 raid of Pawan Sehrwat created the biggest Controversy in the game. he went into the lobby without touching any defender, and then 4 defenders also came in. According to the old rule, India should give 4 points. but in the Pro Kabaddi league, they have scrapped this rule. there is no clarification of the rule in the IKF rule book. so it created chaos for 1 hour and the decision changed almost 3 times. there should be a proper rule book to refer to during international matches. standard of umpiring is also not good in international matches except for Indian umpires
