the previous edition of the Asian Kabaddi championship was held in Gorgan, Iran. After a gap of 6 years Asian Kabaddi championship will be played. India was the champion in the previous edition. they defeated Pakistan by 14 points in the final. India is the powerhouse of kabaddi. almost all editions of the Asian kabaddi championship are won by India.
Indian men’s and women’s teams started preparation for upcoming international events. such as the Asian Kabaddi Championship, Asian Games, and kabaddi world cup. other kabaddi teams Iran, Pakistan, and Korea also started preparing for upcoming international events. till now only Iran is the Champion of the Asian Kabaddi Championship 2003 other than India.
