Kabaddi is a contact sport, native to the Indian subcontinent. It is one of the most popular sports in India, played mainly among people in villages. Indian players are interested in this game from the very past. India has taken part in 4 Asian Games in kabaddi and won gold in all of them. There are four styles of Kabaddi which are played in India. These are Amar(Punjab, Haryana), Suranjeevi(mostly played), Huttuttoo(Maharashtra), Gamine.

India is so interested in kabaddi, due to this reason, there are many grounds available for kabaddi. Some lists of these grounds are here….

1]. G.M.C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium: formerly this stadium is known as the Gachibowli Athletic Stadium, which is a multi-purpose stadium situated in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a multipurpose stadium. It is used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds approx. 30000 people.

2]. Guru Govind Singh Stadium: this stadium is named after the tenth guru of the Sikhs- Guru Govind Singh.  This is one of the oldest multipurpose stadiums in the state of Punjab. It is established in 1971. The government of India decided to reconstruct it because it became obsolete to cope with the modern requirements. Now, it has become one of the best and largest stadiums in the state.

3]. Sawai Mansingh indoor stadium: this is an indoor stadium located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The stadium can also be used for many non-sporting events and it can accommodate any indoor sporting event played at the Olympics. The stadium is the home of the Pro Kabaddi League team Jaipur pink panthers owned by actor Abhishek Bachchan.

4]. War heroes stadium: this stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Sangrur, Punjab, India. The stadium hosted two kabaddi world cups in 2010 and 2013.

5]. Thyagraj sports complex: it is a sports stadium in New Delhi, India, which is owned by the government of the national capital territory of Delhi, and was from scratch at a cost of US $ 42 million. The stadium is the home ground of Dabang Delhi in the Pro Kabaddi League.

6]. Patliputra sports complex: the Patliputra stadium at the Patliputra sports complex is a multipurpose stadium in Bihar. The first women world cup of the Kabaddi Championship was held here in its inaugural year in which 16 countries had participated. It had also hosted the seven league matches of the new Pro Kabaddi League with its home team as Patna pirates from 7 to 10 august in 2014.

7]. Netaji Indoor stadium: this stadium is an indoor sports arena, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This indoor stadium is located just beside the Eden Gardens. Currently, it is the home of the kabaddi league team Bengal Warriors.

8].kanteerava indoor stadium: this stadium is an indoor sporting arena located in Banglore, Karnataka, India. The stadium hosted the SABA championship in 2015 and 2016.
