In the previous 2 seasons, Anup Kumar was the coach of Puneri Paltan. he did a very good job with young Puneri Paltan. In the 7th season under the guidance of Anup Kumar, Puneri paltan finished the season with10th Position. in season 7 Team did not perform well due to injury issues and also Anup Kumar first time handled the mentors’ jobs for any team. in season 8 Puneri paltan played with the very young team under the guidance of Anup Kumar. In season 8th Puneri Paltan reached into playoffs and finished in 6th position.
this year Anup Kumar is not doing coaching for any team due to personal reasons. so Puneri Paltan appointed B C Ramesh as head coach for Season 9. in the 6th season, BC Ramesh did coaching for Puneri Paltan.

- Gujrat Giants – Ram Mehar Singh
when we heard the name Franchise Gujrat giants one name always comes to our mind. that name is Coach Manpreet Singh. from the last 4 years Manpreet Singh is associated with Gujrat Giants. in the last 4 seasons, Gujrat did very well in Pro kabaddi. he always takes young players into the team and then he made them stars. Sachin tanwar, Parvesh, Sunil, and Mahendra Rajput, are one of them.
for season 9 Gujrat appoint Ram Mehar Singh as head coach of Gujrat. Ram Mehar Singh was a famous coach who made Patna 3 times. in the previous season in the absence of Pardeep Narwal Patna pirates reached the finals. Ram Mehar Singh helps the young team reach Pro Kabaddi’s finals.
- Bengal Warriors – K Bhaskaran & Prashant Surve
Bengal warriors appoint K Bhaskaran as head coach and Prashant Surve as assistant head coach for season 9. K Bhaskaran was the coach of the Jaipur Pink Panthers who won the Trophy in the 1st season. Prashant Surve was head coach of the Maha State team for the 68th Senior national 2021. The current coach of Puneri Paltan B C Ramesh was coach of Bengal in the previous season

- Patna Pirates – Ravi Shetty
as we know that Ram Meher Singh joined Gujrat Giants as head coach for pkl season 9. So Patna Pirates appoints Ravi Shetty as head coach for pro kabaddi 2022. he was the assistant coach of puneri paltan in the previous season. he is also associated with Yuva Paltan part of puneri paltan which finds young talent at local tournaments. In the previous season after a long time, Patna played without Pradeep still able to reach the finals. In this season first time Patna play without Pradeep and ram Meher Singh it will be interesting to see their performance in season 9.
- Haryana Steelers – Manpreet Singh
Manpreet Singh was associated with Gujrat till pkl season 8. In spite of the new franchise, he helped Gujrat to continuously reached into playoffs. but for this season Gujrat appoints Ram Mehar Singh as head coach. due to this, he joined Haryana Steelers as head coach. Manpreet always gives chances to Young players instead of established Players. he already signed 4 new young players ahead of auction who performed well in local tournaments. This time it will be interesting to see how Haryana will perform under the new coach
- Dabang Delhi – Krishan Kumar Hooda & Shamsher Singh
Dabang Delhi keep previous season coaches for pkl season 9 also
- Jaipur Pink Panthers – Sanjeev Baliyan & Upendra Kumar
no changes in Jaipur for coaches.
- Telugu Titans – Manjeet Chillar ( Assistant Coach )

U Mumba released their previous season coach S Rajguru. they have assigned Anil Chaprana as their head coach. but U Mumba fans seem not happy with the coach’s announcement. on social media, they are expressing their views. The previous season was not good for u Mumba. we wish them the very best of luck for this season
- Tamil Thaliavas – J Uday Kumar
Tamil Thalaivas did not change their previous year’s coach. they are continuing with J Uday Kumar for this season also
- UP Yoddha – Jasveer Singh ( Head Coach ) & Jeeva Kumar (Assistant Coach )
Up Yoddha appointed Jeeva Kumar as new assistant coach of UP Yoddha. Jasveer Singh continuing his coaching from last season of pkl
