Top 5 most expensive All-rounders of Season 9

The pro Kabaddi league season 9 auction ended on 6 August. Various players got a huge price while some big names went unsold. Today in this article we will discuss the top five all-rounders who got the highest amount in the auction of PKL season 9.

  1. Mohammad Esmail Nabibakhsh

He is an Iranian all-rounder who played for Bengal warriors in the last two seasons. He is more a raider all-rounder. In season 8, he scored  108 points (including 89 raid points and 19 defending points) while in season 7 he scored 122 points ( 92 raid points and 30 tackle points). Puneri paltan bought him for an amount of 87 lakh rupees. This has been the highest bid for an all-rounder this year. This can be understood by the fact that the second person on his list got half the amount as Mohammed.

  1. Deepak Niwas Hooda

Captain of the Indian national kabaddi team and former captain of Jaipur pink panthers is at the second number on our list. He has been the rocking star of the PKL. However, he did not get the price according to the quality of his game. This downfall in his price came due to his lack of performance in the past few seasons. In season 8 he could not even manage to get 150 points in both raid and defence. In season 7 also, he got only 158 points. We will see him playing for Bengal warriors this season, as they bought him for 43 lakh rupees. Fans expect Deepak to come back stronger because his form will be crucial for the Indian kabaddi team.

  1. Nitin Rawal

Nitin Rawal is the part of Jaipur pink panthers since his debut in season 5. In season 8, he passed through the most difficult phase of his career. As he managed to get only 25 points (including raid and defence points) in 13 matches. In season 7,  also his performance was not satisfactory for Jaipur management as he just scored 51 points in 16 matches. He will be playing for the Haryana steelers this season they bought him for an amount of 37.5 lakh rupees.

  1. Arkam Shaikh

He is a Maharashtra all-rounder who was in the squad of UP yoddhas in season 6 and season 7. However, he did not get any chance till now. This year he will be playing for Gujarat giants which bought him for rupees 32.10 lakh he might get his debut chance in PKL this year.

  1. Shankar Bhimraj Gadai

Maharashtra state Kabaddi captain Shankar Bhimraj Gadai is bought by Gujarat giants for the amount of 30.30 lakh after a heated bidding war. He used to cut sugarcane to earn his livelihood, but his hard work and fortune awakened this year and his dream came true as he will be playing his dream tournament PKL for Gujarat giants in season 9.

The PKL season 9 will start in October all the players are working very hard and will try to do their best in new jerseys.
