Bangabandhu International Kabaddi Cup Season 2
Bangabandhu International Kabaddi Cup is a type of Memorial Kabaddi tournament which was started in 2021 in memories of former president and prime minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who is also known as Bangabandhu. Kabaddi is the National sport of Bangladesh for the promotion of International Kabaddi, Bangladesh is hosting the Bangabandhu International Kabaddi Cup which is started by the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina who is the daughter of Bangabandhu (Sheikh Mujibur Rahman).
After the Successful first Season of the Bangabandhu International Cup, the second season is set to take place from 16th March to 25th March 2022, at Dhaka, Bangladesh organized by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation. In the first season of the Bangabandhu Cup total of 5 countries Bangladesh, Srilanka, Nepal, Poland & Kenya participated in which Bangladesh was champion of season 1 while Kenya was the runner up of Season 1 of the Bangabandhu Cup.
After the successful first season, 1 of the Bangabandhu Cup, 4 new countries teams England, Iraq, Malaysia & Indonesia have been included this year for the second season of the Bangabandhu Cup. In the second season of the Bangabandhu Cup total of 8 teams Bangladesh, Srilanka, Nepal, Kenya, England, Iraq, Malaysia & Indonesia are going to participate from Asia, Europe, Africa. In this Season Poland is not participated in Bangabandhu Cup due to the war between Ukraine and Russia because Poland is a neighbouring country of Ukraine.

Format –
Bangabandhu International Kabaddi Cup is conducted in a league format in which all teams will play one match with opponent teams.

16th to 25th March 2022, Sahid Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium, Dhaka.
