Born on 3 February 1994 in Santacruz, Mumbai, he is one of the league’s best raiders and has received widespread acclaim for consistently providing spectacular performances.

Devadiga is a commerce graduate from Chetana Hazarimal Somani College of Commerce and Economics who also represents BPCL on a national level. He is now residing in the Karnataka hamlet of Gangolli. He lost his father when he was young and now lives with his mother and sister.
Rishank began playing kabaddi when he was approximately seven years old. While doing so, he noticed he was stronger than his friends, which motivated him to pursue kabaddi as a sport. He competed for the Mumbai district kabaddi squad and received his first break with Dena Bank, where he was named the tournament’s top player. He has also played for Bharat Petroleum and the Maharashtra side before being picked for the Pro Kabaddi League.

Devadiga started his PKL career with U Mumba, his home club, and continued with them for the next three years. He was signed by UP Yoddha for a large fee of Rs. 45.50 lakhs in Season 5 and will play for them in the forthcoming Season 6 for a monstrous price of Rs. 1.11 crores.
Rise to Glory:
In 2015, his outstanding performance drew the attention of the Indian National Kabaddi squad. He has risen to prominence and built a name for himself on the Kabaddi circuit as a result of his dedication, devotion, and hard work. He is an extraordinarily athletic athlete who loves to train hard and keep his health rigorously. He is known for his do or dies raids. His physique allows him to effortlessly outmuscle his opponents when raiding.
Rishank Devadiga Pro Kabaddi League Career:
Rishank was signed to U Mumba as a raider in the first season, where he led his side to the finals, amassing 64 raid points and 13 tackle points in 16 matches but was defeated by the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the final.
Finally, he won a PKL title in his second season, defeating Bengaluru Bulls in the finals with a score of 36-30. In 13 games, he has 44 raid points and 14 tackle points.
Rishank scored 106 raid points and 9 tackle points in 16 matches during the third season. For the third year in a row, he guided his club to the championship game. They were beaten in the finals by Patna Pirates with a score of 31-28.
Unfortunately, U Mumba did not make it to the finals for the fourth season and finished fifth. In 14 games this season, he accumulated 70 raid points.
In the fifth season, he was signed by Abhishek Bachchan’s club, U.P Yoddha, for Rupees 45.5 Lakh, and set an all-time raid score. He had 165 raid points and 5 tackle points in 21 games with the Yoddha’s.
For the next season, he was retained by the team. In 23 matches during the sixth season, he scored 100 raid points and four tackle points.
In the seventh season, he produced huge back-to-back performances for the squad, scoring 75 raid points and 2 tackle points in 18 matches, including two Super Raids.

Devadiga made history by leading Maharashtra to the Senior National Kabaddi Championship in 2017-18. He was also a member of the Indian squad that won the 2018 Kabaddi Masters championship in Dubai. He has been one of the league’s most lethal raiders thus far, and he now ranks seventh all-time in raid points with 449 points in 80 encounters. His personal best was with the U Mumba team in Season 3, where he ended with 115 points in 16 matches, ranking second in the season.
