Gujarat Giants possibly starting seven for pkl 9
The new season comes with a new responsibility and new beginnings, Gujarat Giants is following the trend very serious for the upcoming season 9 of the pro kabaddi league.
The fans got shocked when the team management parted ways with their Head coach Manpreet Singh, who was with the team since the debut season of Giants. But the team stole the spotlight by signing the most successful coach of PKL history Ram Mehar Singh, who successfully lead Patna Pirates to 3 PKL titles.
Now, coming towards the squad made for PKL season 9 through and before the auction. Gujarat retained their ace raiders HS Rakesh and Sonu Jaglan under the elite retained player category.
The team also signed the young guns Parteek Dahiya and Rohan Singh under the NYP category.
The management surprised everyone when they released the Duo of Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal, who were impressive for Gujarat in the past seasons.
The team management made some good picks in the PKL 9 auction for a giant performance in the upcoming season.

Talking about the raiders, Gujarat has picked their former raiders Chandran Ranjith and Dong Geon Lee from the auction. The raiding department would be a mixture of young and experienced raiders.
Defenders
Giants have picked Shankar Gadai and Arkam Shaikh, the Dynamic All-rounders from Maharashtra who will provide great strength to the team.
The Gujarat management would have to make a tough call while picking up the corners as the team has picked two well-established corners that have proven their worth at their respective positions.
The right corner defenders Baldev Singh & Shankar Gadai and left corner defenders Rinku Narwal and Sandeep Kandola are the top contenders to make it to starting seven.
The team has not announced the captain yet, it would be a challenging call for the coach to choose the best starting seven.
The team would be eyeing for allround options to provide stability to the starting seven, Arkam who plays as left cover could be a handy option.
