Pkl 10 Auction postponed due to Asian Games 2023.
Mashal Sports postponed the scheduled auction of pkl-10. The auction of PKL 10 is planned for the 8th and 9th September 2023. AKFI ( Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India ) requested Mashal Sports to postpone the auction. After discussing with all 12 team owners they decided to postpone the auction.
the reason behind the postponement is star players of Pro Kabaddi are currently in an Asian Games camp. only 1 month is pending for the Asian Games 2023. so it will impact the practice of the Indian kabaddi team. 15 to 20-star players from the world are busy in the Asian games practice camp. As PKL 10 is going to start from 2nd December 2023 almost 3 months is available. so Mashal Sports made the decision to postpone of 10th season auction.

Asian games will end in the first week of October. most probably Auction will be arranged between 15 October to 30 October. official broadcasting partner Star Sports would focus on the Cricket World Cup 2023. The Cricket World Cup is scheduled between 5th October 2023 to 20 November 2023. so after 20 November, it’s not possible to arrange an Auction because Matches will start from 2 December 2023. so only 10 days time will be for the training camps of all franchises.
if the auction gets postponed after the Asian Games 2023. Then we can see some good players around the world in the Auction draft list. kabaddi players around the globe are going to play in the Asian Games 2023. So players who are really interested in kabaddi sports will get a chance to play in the biggest kabaddi league. we can see some best kabaddi players from Iran, South Korea, Poland, Iraq, and Chinese Taipei will play in the next PKL season.
