Mashal Sports, which is the organizer of the Pro Kabaddi League, has already announced the auction date of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2021, which is the first step to start the PKL Season 8. On 29th-31st Aug 2021, we are going to see the auction of PKL season 8 in which more than 500 players are going to come under the hammer of the auction. For the first time in the history of PKL, there is going to be a mega auction.

 

 

ABOUT PKL SEASON 8 STARTING DATE 2021

In the official article released by Mashal Sports, he has said about the starting month of Pro Kabaddi Season 8 –

 

Mashal Sports plans to commence Season 8 of the vivo Pro Kabaddi League in December 2021, in complete compliance with the health and safety regulations set by the Government of India.

 

The date has not been officially announced, but if the sources are to be believed, we will see the 8th season of the Pro Kabaddi League from the 1st or 2nd week of December.

Safety Protocols Before start Pkl season 8 –

 

  • After the auction of Pro Kabaddi, it will be compulsory for all the players, officials & other workers to get vaccinations in between the gap of 4 months.

 

  • Corona’s test of all players should be negative before the match starts.

 

  • Because of the 50% audience in the stadium and the situation of Covid, matches will be played without an audience.

 

Possibilities in PKL Season 8 –

 

Total 12 no. Of teams that play in Pro Kabaddi League, a double round-robin tournament is organized between them in which approx 140 matches are played between them and all the matches are played in the same stadium.

The main objective of organizing the Pro Kabaddi League is to find and nurture young talent like Pro Kabaddi has been doing since last season.
