Haryana Steelers are the most recent addition to India’s kabaddi sports revolution. “The squad is situated in Haryana and is owned by JSW Sports, which is part of the Jindal South West (JSW) Group, a conglomerate worth $11 billion.” It will also compete in the 2017 edition of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League. The Steelers want to enhance not just the Pro Kabaddi League, but its fanbase and society at large, with the support of India’s leading sports business, which has mentored India’s best athletes over the last decade. Because they hail from a hotspot of talent, the Haryana Steelers represent persistence, strength, and tenacity. Haryana Steelers is a key pillar in the JSW Sports fold, with the JSW group devoted to paving the road for India’s progress toward becoming a worldwide superpower across industries.
Surender Nada captained the club, but due to an unlucky injury in season 6, he had to sit out. They have signed Vikas Khandola and Kuldeep Singh for Pro Kabaddi season 7, which begins on July 19th. Steelers’ home games are held at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat, Haryana. The Steelers had a bright start in the PKL, making the playoffs in their first season in 2017, but their success was fleeting, as the team finished last in Zone A the following season 6. Monu Goyat, one of the mainstays of Patna Pirates’ PKL 5 winning squad, was also the most expensive player at the PKL 6 auction, fetching a stunning 151 lakhs for the Steelers.
