Khelo India youth games 2021
Khelo India Youth Games is the best platform for Young Players. The Khelo India youth games 2021 programme has been introduced to revive India’s sports culture at the grassroots level by building a strong framework for all sports played in our country and establishing India as a great sporting nation. Talented Sportsman identified by the Committee and provided financial support of INR 5 lakh per annum for 8 years and provides a free training from the International Level Coaches and provided all necessary equipment and diet for their better growth and development.
It really motivates young players and their parents and after seeing this more and more players wanted to be a player in any sports which they want so it gives many young players to our nation which represents our nation at international level and made us proud. Khelo India has 3 programmes under it:-
Khelo India youth games 2021 information
1.) Khelo India School Games:- In Which School Level Players Got an opportunity to show off their talent on this stage. School Level Players can Participate in this programme of the U-17 Category.
2.) Khelo India Youth Games: In Which School Level and SAI Sportsman, Got an opportunity to show off their talent. Anyone who played School Nationals and who played for SAI can Participate in this programme of U-19 and U-21 Category.
3.) Khelo India Youth Games:- In Which University Level Players Got a chance to show off their talent. Only University Players can participate in this event.
4th Edition Of Khelo India Youth Games had been organised in November 2021 in Panchkula, Haryana in the Under-18 Category Only. Due To Covid-19 Pandemic, the school games federation of India didn’t organise the school games nationals so the selection process was considered perfect which will be given by the School Games Federation of India and Sports Authority Of India.
But Now Haryana Government has decided to postpone the 4th Edition Of Khelo India Youth Games to February 2022 due to the possible Covid 3rd Wave Scare. So Haryana CM Sh. Manohar Lal Khatar Announced that Khelo India Youth Games was postponed to February 2022 and held successfully in 2022.
